‘Wake Up, Mama’… wasn’t just a play. It was like therapy for the soul. A good reminder for this time of a mothers life that you’ve got to just show up and be present in the most basic ways. I have a new outlook on motherhood and how a seemingly well-organized mother can feel isolated during this time. Loved it and would recommend it to anyone – no matter what phase of life. – B. Shepard

‘The play was fantastic, so well written and acted. And good food for the souls of we other mamas who could relate to every single detail. Thank you, thank you!’ —P. Shure

‘It was like watching some of my own personal experiences play out on a stage. The same questions/feelings/doubts/concerns that have been circling around in my head were playing out before my eyes and it was such relief to know that I wasn’t alone. It was incredibly moving yet mixed in with a healthy dose of comedic relief of the minutiae of daily life. It was real.
…It was f-ing awesome.’ -H. Webster

‘I laughed, I cried, I nodded in agreement, and I thought to myself “amen!” I found myself not wanting it to end. This play put a voice to so many emotions that I have felt since becoming a mama and I am so grateful.’ -A. Stasney
